A Ball of Energy

"If we're not willing to settle for junk living,
we certainly shouldn't settle for junk food."
~Sally Edwards

Thanks to my pal, Alicia, these babies are quickly becoming a staple in the Wheeler casa. We're talking serious nutrition, tons of protein and all natural ingredients. It's a winner, for sure.

1 c Honey
1 c Crunchy Peanut Butter
1 c Protein Powder
4 cups total- any variety of the following: flax seed, Honey Bunches of Oats, rolled oats
Mix the honey and peanut butter together and then fold in the dry ingredients. Allow mixture to chill in the fridge for an hour. Then, roll into balls and enjoy.

I enjoy these treats right before I go to the gym for an energy kick. However, if you're feeling a bit lazy, they are perfect with a cold glass of almond milk or a hot cup of tea. These, my dearies, are pretty much perfection at its finest.

these look great. where did you pick up the protein powder? I could use some energy pick me ups!. I have been trying to take my iron and see if it helps. These might help that afternoon droops I get. They are healthier than a diet pepsi!!!!

Today was the worst, I was dying by 3pm and still stayed late and then did some more work at home. SO tired...................

Good night!

OK-They were a big hit. I had one for breakfast. I shared one-casey and Kim split it and I was saving the other 2 for the rest of the week and Jack ate them both at the end of the school day!

I know what I will be making this weekend!

I didn't feel as tired today. Maybe it was all in my head but hey, what ever works! I worked until 5:30 and wasn't falling asleep, so they must be doing something.

leftover soup and sloppy jo mix for dinner tonight.

This sound like a healthy peanut butterno bake cookie. I don't have vanilla protein powder but I have Chocolate. do you think that would be a good substitute and more like a chocolate no bake.
